Letter from the Heart #3: A Letter on Free Will

Dear Heavenly Father,

Free Will shows me who You really are. By not forcing me to love You, You allow me to choose—and that freedom reveals Your holiness and character even more clearly. I see the fruit of the Spirit, and I know You see my name, my secrets, and my struggles—yet You never use them against me.

You tore the veil so that I can come boldly into Your presence—even at 3 a.m.—just to talk with You. The King of the universe desires a relationship with me and gives me the option to enter Your presence. That truth overwhelms me with gratitude.

In my heart, I know You are the source of holiness and love. Thank You for not forcing me, but blessing me with free will—to love You, to live in truth, and to glorify Your holy name.

With all my heart,
Refined by Faith

Deuteronomy 30:19 (NIV)
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before your life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

Revelation 3:20 (NIV)
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
