Devotional #4 – The Spirit as Our Guide

John 16:13 (NIV)
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth”

  Devotional

We are not left to stumble blindly through life. The Spirit of Truth — the Holy Spirit — has been sent by the Father to guide us.

Guidance from the Spirit isn’t about speculation. It is about the God of all wisdom personally leading His children. He doesn’t just point us in the right direction; He walks with us while holding ours hand.

The Spirit reveals Christ, reminds us of God’s Word, convicts us of sin, and directs our steps. He does this not as an impersonal force, but as the eternal God Himself who knows the mind of the Father perfectly.

To live by the Spirit means leaning into His direction daily, trusting that He knows the way better than we do.

 Reflection Question

  1. Where do you most need the Spirit’s guidance right now — decisions, relationships, or faith?
