Letter from the Heart #4: Please
This letter is written from my heart — not to condemn, but to call us all back to what truly matters “Jesus Christ” our Lord and Savior.
As believers, we must find true value in our spirituality and devotion. What we value holds our attention — and if our values are corrupted, so are our morals.
Spirituality is a continual journey of becoming more like Christ. It’s about personal growth — daily, intentional, and sacred. Our faithfulness in devotion reflects our commitment to walk with God, and that walk demands consistent effort. A Christian who neglects their spirituality and devotion weakens their spiritual walk — and risks drifting toward the broad road that leads to destruction.
I promise you: there is nothing in this world more valuable than your eternal address. Time is your best friend — use it wisely. Immerse yourself in the Word of God. In the name of Jesus Christ, stop living as if hell is not real, and as if God will not leave you there for all eternity.
How can someone live a Christian life without repentance? Without exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, picking up their cross daily, staying connected to the Vine (Jesus), consistently reading the Word, and spending time in daily prayer? Are we so consumed with life that we neglect our relationship with Jesus Christ?
Despite our ambitions, we must focus on living a life that pleases God. It is essential to prioritize our time by seeking first the kingdom of God and pursuing holiness. This not only transforms our life now — it also prepares us for eternity.
. This kind of lifestyle is truly pleasing to God.
. Urgency is on the table.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 “I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying His voice and holding fast to Him.
2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” (NIV)
